So I was trying to get a TI that used to run my bbs running again. No keys on the Mitsumi keyboard worked. While cleaning the membrane contacts I managed to drop the keyboard while peeling the membrane off. This tore a connector and several traces.

I was able to recover from this by using MG Chemicals 838AR-P – Carbon Conductive Pen and repainting the traces. I cleaned the membrane buttons with alcohol, but some of the keys still would not stay working. I then used alcohol with some of the conductive ink from the pen mixed in to wipe the contacts and so far the keyboard has stayed working. I don’t know how long it will last but I have my eye on one of those replacement circuit boards that takes the Cherry key switches.

This system also has a Zeno Board with the speech synthesizer and a 32K ram expansion installed. The cable installed on the motherboard is all the extra connections the Zeno Board requires.
